Are Whimsy Forge’s fitness trainers certified?

Not everyone who creates or appears in Whimsy Forge fitness programs has the same background or credentials. Charity is not a certified personal trainer. Her experience comes from years of movement practice and performance as an athlete, Ninja Warrior competitor, dancer, and circus arts performer.

Can I watch on my TV or download workouts?

The workouts stream inside our community platform, so you watch them with an internet connection rather than downloading. Since they are on demand and most run 20 to 30 minutes, you can do them whenever you have a good connection, no long download needed. Watching on a TV: many members cast or mirror the video from ...

Do I have to participate in the community to use my program?

No. Your programs are hosted inside the Whimsy Forge community platform, so you must sign in to access the lessons and workouts, but you do not have to participate socially. You can complete your program privately and at your own pace without posting, commenting, attending live sessions, or joining a Squad.

Do the programs include weapon work?

Yes. The programs include follow-along, fantasy-themed weapon movement as part of the workouts. Practice weapons are used as props to build strength, conditioning, and coordination.

How does the Whimsy Forge book club work?

Book Club is included whenever you have active Basic or Premium access. This includes the 7-day Basic free trial, a paid Basic membership, the two-month Basic trial included with a $97 one-time purchase, and Premium. A new book is typically selected each month.

How do the workouts work?

Every fitness Program is fully on demand and organized in a day-by-day, eight-week format. You can do the workouts whenever they suit you, pause or repeat a session, and rewatch the videos as often as you like. Most workouts are guided, follow-along video sessions.

How long will I have access to my program?

It depends on how you joined, but either way your access is generous. If you bought a program as a one time purchase, you have lifetime access to that program and its videos. That does not change, even after a challenge ends.

What do reps, sets, and progressive overload mean?

A rep (repetition) is one complete movement. A set is a group of reps completed before you rest. For example, “3 sets of 10 reps” means you complete the movement 10 times, rest, and then repeat that sequence two more times.

What equipment do I need?

To start, all you really need is a yoga mat and enough room to stretch out on it. That is genuinely enough to begin any program. You do not need access to a gym, climbing ropes, or other specialized gym equipment.

What is Assembly, and is it recorded?

Assembly is a monthly community call where members can connect and hear updates about what is happening around Whimsy Forge. Attendance is optional, and every Assembly is recorded. If you cannot attend live, you can watch the recording later without missing anything.

What programs does Whimsy Forge offer?

Whimsy Forge has four fantasy themed fitness programs, plus the Fantasy Gown Course on the creative side. All of the fitness programs are 8 weeks, on demand, and available any time, so spots are never limited and you are never too late. You start on day one whenever you join.

Who are the Dragon Rider trainers?

Charity Grace is the Dragon Rider Wing Leader and primary guide through the program. Kat Musni is the Sparring Master. She is a personal trainer, life coach, professional calisthenics athlete, and flow-arts practitioner who contributes fantasy-themed weapons and fitness choreography.
