What are the Dragon Rider workout sessions like?
Dragon Rider is an eight-week, fantasy-themed strength and skill program designed to feel like attending a dragon rider war college. It includes story elements and themed training, but it does not follow a continuous plot, and completing a workout does not substantially change the outcome of a story.
Some weekly challenges may include narrative framing. Participants are also invited to imagine and develop their own Dragon Rider character through a Persona Quest.
The program has four training phases, with a new set of workouts introduced in each phase. Flight Day is intentionally repeated throughout the program. Other workouts and skills may also be revisited because strength, balance, and technical skills take practice. Each workout and skill challenge includes buildable difficulty options, allowing members to progress or move at their own pace.
Training across the program includes strength and endurance workouts, sword and other fantasy-weapons movement, handstand and pull-up progressions, skill challenges, and Parapet Training, which is a balance-focused training session. The updated program also includes additional exercise guidance and modifications informed by hypermobility and EDS expertise.
Dragon Rider combines traditional fitness foundations with imaginative themes, character creation, weapons movement, and physical skill development. It is intended to make training feel like preparation for becoming a dragon rider, rather than presenting a story whose outcome is controlled by the workouts.
