Why am I getting an email about my trial expiring?

There are two common kinds of Basic trials, and what happens next depends on which one you have.

If your two-month Basic trial came with a one-time program purchase, the reminder is about the Basic community access, not your purchased program. Your program remains yours for life. If there is no payment method attached to the Basic trial, you will not be charged when it ends.

To continue Basic without a gap, make sure a payment method is attached before the two-month trial ends. The paid Basic membership will begin automatically when the trial finishes. Starting a separate paid Basic membership early will not preserve or carry forward the unused portion of the trial.

The 7-day Basic free trial works differently because a payment method is collected when it begins. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically becomes a paid Basic membership. You may receive a renewal reminder before the first charge.
